Well, I went and broke my arm!

Getting old sucks. This past weekend, I fell and broke my arm. Instead of letting my ass do the work, I put my hands out to brace myself and cracked my left radial head. Unfortunately, this will really limit my painting time for the next 6 to 8 weeks. However, I have completed some blog posts that will still be published since I really want to show them off. But after that, there may be a lull in my posting schedule. Thanks everyone for following my blog!

  1. That's pretty bad luck Andrew, but don't worry man, you'll heal up and be back at it again. But yeah, breaking bones really puts a damper on painting.

    Take care.

    1. Thanks! Although I've already been experimenting with ways to at least paint a little 😂

    2. When your gaming buddy who was envious of all that output suggested you needed a break maybe you shouldn't have taken them up quite so literally. I don't recommend trying this next fall. *ducks* I hope your experiments keep you going. Blue tack to the cast? :D

Awful puns aside, my sympathy. I hope things are knitted back right and proper soon. And I do hope the experiment keeps you satisfied, no matter where you have to use the crazy glue.

  3. Hopefully not your dominant arm? Did you need surgery or just a cast?

    1. It's my left and I'm primarily a righty, thankfully. I also only needed a cast. All in all, it could have been a lot worse!
